Blended Intensive Program in PIła!

The "Digital Communication & Content Creation: A Blended Intensive Course" is designed to empower university students and staff with essential skills in visual communication and digital content creation. Over the span of 70 hours—30 hours of teaching and 40 hours of self-paced work—participants will gain hands-on experience in creating engaging podcasts, streaming studios, online lectures, and workshops on a budget. The course covers the fundamentals of visual communication, social media algorithms, and effective dissemination of projects through various digital media channels. Practical tutorials on using Canva and free software for recording video and audio will also be included.

Course Objectives:

1) Participants will understand Visual Communication: Learn the principles and techniques of effective visual communication to enhance digital content.
2) Participants will gain knowledge about creating Cost-Effective Media Studios: Design and set up a podcast and streaming studio using budget-friendly resources and equipment.
3) Participants will gain basic skills to develop Online Educational Content: Create and deliver engaging online lectures and workshops using best practices in digital pedagogy.
4) Participants will gain knowledge how to navigate Social Media Algorithms: Gain insights into how social media algorithms work and how to leverage them for maximizing reach and engagement.
5) Participants will gain basic skills in using Canva for Content Creation: Acquire basic skills in Canva for designing visually appealing graphics and promotional materials.
6) Participants will learn about Free Software for Media Production and how to utilize it: Explore and learn to use various free software tools for recording high-quality video and audio content.
7) Participants will gain or enhance existing skills in Project Dissemination: Develop strategies for creating and distributing social media and video materials to effectively disseminate academic and project work.

By the end of this course, participants will be equipped with practical skills and knowledge to create, manage, and distribute quality digital content, enhancing their professional and academic endeavors.
