ANS in Piła has one dormitory and academic hotel, located at: 14 Żeromskiego Str. | 64-920 Piła | Poland

The dormitory has 170 places for students and also hotel rooms for up to 20 teachers, available all year long (including holidays). The dormitory is adapted for persons with disabilities. Every floor is equipped with a modern kitchen, and laundry room. There is also a computer room and a learning room.

Be advised: the Dormitory is not a hotel, and the staff does not provide hotel-like services such as: cleaning / laundry service, wakeup calls, students are also required to bring/buy their private bed linen.

ANS in Piła offers incoming students the possibility to stay in our Student Dormitory for the period of their mobility. 1st, 2nd year students and Erasmus incoming students can choose to stay in 2 or 3 person rooms.

Prices for students  in academic year 2024/2025 (a room with a shared bathroom between 4 rooms):

  • accommodation in a 2 person room - 520 - 530 PLN/ per month*
  • accommodation in a 3 person room - 480 - 510 PLN/ per month*

The deposit for the stay longer than one month is 500 PLN for students. The deposit will be returned after the check-out if the tenant meets the terms of the contract and leaves the apartment in the condition in which he found it.

Please note that the Dormitory is:

  • open for representatives of all ethnic groups;
  • open for representatives of all religious beliefs/faiths;
  • open for representatives of all sex orientations;
  • open for representatives of all nationalities;
  • open for students with disabilities.

Students from whole European Union owning a valid student ID card, coming for short visits, will pay 70 PLN per night. In case of organized groups, for more than 10 days, there is a possibility to negotiate the price with the Dormitory Manager.

No student is treated less or more favorably than another on the grounds of gender, disability, race or ethnic origin, religion or belief, sexual orientation or age. Note that the Student Dormitory is uni-sex (you will find students of both sex living in the same dormitory, on the same floor). Boxes with multiple rooms can be organized so that there are only students of one sex.

Residents have the right to disagree with the the above mentioned policy and the Dormitory regulations, but have to note that it is unchangeable and acts of discrimination, disobey or rule breaking will result in immediate dismissal from the Student Dormitory and ANS in Piła.

  1. The Dormitory is a place of residence for entitled students, a place of work and rest
  2. Check in of foreign students is done according to the list prepared by the Institutional Erasmus+ Programme Coordinator. During the check in the students receive forms for registration for temporary stay of a foreigner. The completed forms should be presented in the Institutional Erasmus Programme Coordinators office within 10 working days after arrival.
  3. The administration of the Dormitory is open from Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
  4. The fee for accommodation is paid in the office of the Dormitory Manager. The accommodation fee should be paid no later than by the 15th day of each month. Moreover, each resident of a room should pay a deposit of 400 PLN. The deposit is paid to cover any potential damage arising as a result of inappropriate use of furnishings, missing furnishings etc. The deposit is returned in whole after the handover of the room – in the presence of an administrator and a representative of the Department of International Relations – if the room is in proper order and no damage is found.
  5. The residents of the Dormitory are obliged to take care of furnishings, cleanliness and nice appearance of all rooms.
  6. Rooms used by students are not equipped with bed sheets.
  7. The residents of the Dormitory are obliged to comply with the health and safety at work regulations and fire protection regulations and other regulations in force.
  8. Smoking is prohibited in all rooms. If caught, students will receive a fine of 500 PLN (~125 EUR).
  9. In case of an inspection by the representative of sanitary inspection or fire brigade people smoking in non-smoking places shall be fined.
  10. The night-time silence in the Dormitory is from 10 pm to 6 am. The flexibility of this rule is at the discretion of the Manager of the Dormitory.
  11. Visiting guests may enter the Dormitory between 12 am and 10 pm. Visitors should leave their IDs at the reception desk for the time of the visit. The responsibility for any damage done by the visitors falls on the visited resident of the Dormitory.
  12. Overnight stays in rooms of persons who are not residents are forbidden.
  13. A resident of the Dormitory, before leaving, is obliged to deposit the key to the room at the reception desk.
  14. In order to check out the resident should:
    a. inform the Manager in order to check the condition of the room a few days before leaving,
    b. settle all the bills for the accommodation;
    c. return the keys to the room during the opening hours of the Administration of the Dorm, i.e. Monday to Friday 7.00 am to 2.30 pm,
    d. leave the room clean and tidy.
  15. After the above formalities and when no faults are found the whole amount of the deposit charged by the administration employee is returned.
  16. All students are obligated to keep their rooms clean. To keep rooms tidy means: to ventilate your rooms (by opening widows), to take out rubbish (particularly before leaving rooms for long time), to clean the toilets in your room/box on a regular basis, to leave the kitchen tidy, to use instruction & regulations in laundry room.
  17. Students should respect efforts of staff who try to make your stay more comfortable.
  18. Students who do not abide by the above mentioned rules, or consequently disobey the student regulations of ANS in Piła within the Dormitory building, will be expelled.

  1. ANSówka is available every day between 12:00 and 22:00. In justified cases extending the time is possible by the consent of the member of the Residents’ Council or the Receptionist.
  2. Every ANS Student Resident is allowed to use the Chillout Zone.
  3. Each Student taking the key to the Chillout Zone from the Reception is obliged to sign in the registry.
  4. Residents of the Student Dormitory (the Students) are allowed to host guests in ANSówka according to the Dormitory Regulations:
  • the maximum number of visitors is 2 per resident.
  • the hosting resident takes full responsibility for his/her guest. The guest is obliged to leave the ID card at the Reception while staying in the Student Dormitory.
  • the visit in the Student Dormitory shall be exceeded until 23:59 and requires the consent of all roommates as well as the Dormitory Manager. In case of the Dormitory Manager’s absence, the consent is required from the member of the Resident’s Council. The Student Dormitory Reception must be informed about the decision.
  1. the Room is monitored, and by using the Chillout Zone all Residents agree for the video registration.
  2. Residents are not allowed to bring and consume alcohol and drugs to the Chillout Zone.
  3. Residents are not allowed to bring and consume food in the Chillout Zone.
  4. Residents are allowed to bring and consume bottled beverages with caps, filter bottles, thermal mugs.
  5. Residents are not allowed to organize parties in the Chillout Zone.
  6. Any property of the Chillout Zone must not be appropriated or taken out of the room.
  7. Every user bears full responsibility for material and financial liability for an intentional damage of the property. If there is no party to blame, anyone using the zone at that time is responsible for the damage caused.
  8. ANSówka users are obliged to report any damages detected in the Room.
  9. ANSówka users are asked to enter the room wearing clean shoes and maintaining order.
  10. A person using ANSówka is obliged to close it and give the key to an authorized person.
  11. A person who does not comply with the regulations and repeatedly causes damage may be deprived of the right to use the Zone.
  12. By entering the Chillout Zone, the user accepts the regulations and all its provisions.
